This past weekend I danced under the desert night sky with 80,000 Country music fans! It was the perfect girls weekend with a couple of my coworkers <3 This was a big checkmark off my bucket list, woohoo! We saw some incredible country music artists like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Old Dominion, Cole Swindell, and a surprise performance by Diplo! Plus we spent our days lounging by the pool, my favorite thing in the entire world!!!!! It was amazing how friendly everyone was to each other, the pride and thankfulness for our Military and First Responders, and watching the palm trees sway to the beat of the music while lit up in Red, White, and Blue lights! My spray tan may have faded, my voice may be hoarse, and my feet might slightly be killing me, but this was one of the most incredible experiences with some amazing people!
We stayed at a pretty awesome resort in Palm Springs, called Palm Canyon Resort through Airbnb. We didn’t spend much time in our room, but the pool area is amazing. Here is the link to the listing we used! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/26374088?guests=1&adults=1
I wanted to share my Stagecoach tips that lead to me surviving my first festival experience!
- Amazon Purchases
- Bring lots of sunscreen (They don’t allow aerosol, so make sure to bring the liquid version)
- A spare pair of comfy shoes or sandals! We walked at least 5 miles each day and there was no way my feet would have survived in a weekend of dancing in boots!
- I highly encourage bringing a bandana when walking around the parking lots and grounds. There is a lot of dirt that gets shuffled around and a bandana is life-saving!
- Enjoy and embrace every moment! This is one wild & fun ride and you will meet so many incredible people! Live life to the fullest, be present, and take too many photographs!
